Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information Prime Silver Solutions (Pty) Ltd collects through this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Last updated October 2026.

Who is responsible for your information

Prime Silver Solutions (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for the personal information described here. We are based in Cape Town and work with businesses across South Africa.

Our Information Officer is Matthews Maesela Mogale. You can reach them, or us, at hello@primesilversolutions.co.za or 021 879 2461.

What we collect, and when

We only collect personal information you give us. There is no other collection on this website — no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and nothing that follows you between sites.

When you complete the short check-up ("See where you stand"), we collect your name, your work email address, your business name, your phone number if you choose to give it, and the answers you select. The answers describe how your business runs: whether it is registered, how your records are kept, how much depends on you personally.

If you email or phone us directly, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that message.

Why we collect it

To reply to you. You complete the check-up in order to get a response, and your details are what let us send one.

To prepare for the call, so that it is spent on your situation rather than on background we could have read beforehand.

To work out which of our services fits your stage, which is what the result at the end of the check-up tells you.

We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you started.

Marketing

We do not add you to a marketing list for completing the check-up. Submitting it asks us for a reply, and that is what you get.

Where we offer something you can request separately — a checklist, for example — asking for it is a separate choice, and any follow-up emails that come with it can be stopped at any time using the link in them or by emailing us.

Who else sees it

We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) to deliver your enquiry to us, to send you the confirmation of your result, and to hold your details so that we can respond. Brevo processes this on our behalf as an operator under POPIA and is bound to act only on our instructions. [CONFIRM: sign Brevo’s data processing agreement and keep a copy.]

Brevo processes and stores data in the European Union, which means your information leaves South Africa. POPIA allows this where the recipient is subject to laws or binding agreements giving substantially similar protection; the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Brevo’s own contractual terms are what we rely on. [CONFIRM this basis with your attorney.]

Where work you later engage us for needs a registered professional — an attorney, a tax practitioner, an accountant or a licensed financial services provider — we will tell you before sharing anything with them, and only share what that person needs.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

This website stores nothing. The endpoint that receives the check-up validates it, sends it to us and keeps no copy.

The enquiry itself then lives in our email, where we keep it for as long as we are in contact with you about it and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you become a client, our engagement agreement governs retention instead.

You can ask us to delete it sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. The enquiry endpoint validates and limits what it accepts, and credentials for the email service are held as secrets on the server and are never exposed to your browser.

We keep access on a need-to-know basis. No set of safeguards is perfect, and we will tell you and the Information Regulator if there is a compromise that affects you, as POPIA requires.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy. You may ask us to correct it or delete it. You may object to us processing it, and withdraw consent you previously gave. Withdrawing consent does not undo anything done before you withdrew it.

Ask us at hello@primesilversolutions.co.za and a person will answer you. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that we are not handing your information to someone else.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za.

Children

This website is for people running or starting a business and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we add anything that collects personal information — analytics, a chat widget, a client portal — we will update this notice before it goes live, and change the date at the top.

Anything here you want explained, or a request about your own information? A person will answer you.
